Alumni will be updated to include the Calumet Park Rams
The majority of our multi-year participants further their education after high school. We have a large number of college graduates and undergraduates who are former Robbins Eagles. Among them, here are two names you might be most familiar with:
- 1999 – 1st Robbins Eagle drafted into the NFL, Joe Montgomery – Ohio State University – New York Giants
- 2003 – Dwayne Wade -1st Robbins Eagle drafted into the NBA, Dwayne Wade – Marquette University – Miami Heat
Former Robbins Eagle
Wade refuses to let his life go by without doing something now. Not before it’s too late, before his true power is gone — the power most athletes lose when they leave the game.
Bill Andrews
Northern Illinois University Football Player
“Maybe if I had been somewhere else, I wouldn’t have gotten the same kind of motivation. So, no, I wouldn’t change anything. Growing up in Robbins“, said Andrews, “taught me a lot of things…to never forget where I come from, to respect where I come from. It taught me that nothing would be handed to me. I started in football in the fifth grade with the Robbins Eagles. Those were fun times, “ Andrews said. “In the sixth grade we got to play in the Pop Warner playoffs at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.“
